The UFIs of the classified KRONOS products (FERRIFLOC ferric chloride sulfate solution, KRONOFLOC ferrous chloride solution and KROnoCHROME ferrous sulfate monohydrate) can be found in the updated safety data sheets.
From now on, product labels of mixtures classified as hazardous according to the CLP Regulation (EU Chemicals Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008) must include a UFI (Unique Formula Identifier Code) for packaged goods.
In case of an emergency call, the UFI enables a unique identification of the mixture. With the help of the UFI in combination with the product name, the staff of the poison control center can clearly assign the mixture and ensure adequate medical advice.
